Disaster Relief Vidalia, GA
Georgia was hit with the most devastating storm in our history with Hurricane Helene. The power loss and tree cleanup was greater than ever, resulting in nearly EVERY house or business receiving damage throughout the area. Vidalia, a rural city, has had electricity loss to nearly every home for so long that people lost all their food in their fridges and freezers. Our church is wanting to buy cold/frozen items to help families in need restore their cold products the moment electricity is restored. Many families are already struggling with the cost of the storm, and $300 just to replace the basics in their fridges/freezers is an expensive task that we seek to relieve. Our goal is to minister to 100 families with a case of food, and at $300 each means we need approximately $30,000. Every penny of your designated giving will go to this mission. Low income families, those most in need, that’s our goal.
